CCCRC had four boats in the finals at Stotesbury 2012.  The STA V2 Won Gold and the Hammer Trophy for the first time in St. Albans history!  The NCS V1 won silver, the first time the NCS 1V8 has medaled at Stotesbury in 11 years!  We were delighted that Dr. Sarah Pelmas, Head of the Upper School, and Heather Dent, NCS AD, were there to see it.  Thank you for coming!  STA V1 and STA V4 were each 4th in the finals.  Congratulations to all of our rowers!  The slideshow above is iPhone/iPad friendly.  The same thing in larger format is at Stotesbury 2012 STA NCS Slideshow (154 photos updated Sunday at 9:06 p.m. with fabulous Judy, Joe, Fred and Alison images!) May 12, 2012:  It was a beautiful, long day at the VASRA Championship on the Occoquan.  All of our teams made the finals.  St. Albans 1V and 2V came in first, the Mens' 1st Four came in second, and the NCS 1V and 2V each came in second.  Full results here.  Joe's videos here.  Thanks to Katie for sending live result updates to our email group, and to Alison, Alkis, and Judy for all of the great photos.  Here are the photos in larger format. 

NCS 1V won the Carr Cup again in 2012.  Congratulations NCS!  All other boats did well.  The frosh had excitement on the Occoquan (and the Mens' F8 came in third).  The NCS 2V and STA 2V both won on the Potomac.  It was a close STA 1V race.  Congratulations to Gonzaga.  Results:  Carr Cup,  Foley Cup, and Ted Phoenix Regatta.  (Slideshow features beautiful shots from Judy and Alison!  New videos from Joe here.)

April 28, 2012.  It was a cold, but satisfying day on the Potomac for the Charlie Butt Regatta.  Our teams did great (results here).  Below, some of the boys celebrate with STA Headmaster Vance Wilson.
